Dyed, Double, Triple & Quad Sheepskins

We are based in North Devon, near Exmoor in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK! Red deer graze in the field next to us, buzzards soar overhead and birds sing from the hedgerows. We have planted our organic cottage garden with wild flower meadow seeds, hollyhocks, lupins, snapdragons etc. We are hoping for a colourful summer!
People often ask us "Isn't it bad to get a rare breed sheepskin rug?" The answer is "Quite the opposite! By buying a rare breed sheepskin rug you are helping to maintain a demand. Most commercial farmers keep white sheep, like the 'Suffolk.' Like any business, farmers respond to demand, whether it be for meat, wool or sheepskin pelts. So by buying a rare breed sheepskin rug from farmer lamb, you are actually helping to preserve and increase the numbers of rare breed sheep."
We have always been eco friendly and aim to further reduce our carbon dioxide emissions drasticaly: Our aim is to get ourselves in a position to be able to give up one car and to use a horse/horse & carriage as transport within 5 years. We believe the only way forwards is to go backwards! We have taken the first step by selling our beloved Land Rover Defender for a Suzuki Jimny. The price of diesel has forced this issue somewhat, although we'd rather the government would take action to get hydrogen powered vehicles on our roads so as to offer an alternative first!
We sell our products on this web site, through ebay, at local markets, country shows and point-to-point races. We are at South Molton market some Saturdays from 8 - 1. We find ebay is a very convenient way of listing our sheepskin rugs, particularly the rare breeds and naturally coloured ones (i.e. non white sheep), because they are so unique and the listing process is so quick and simple and we can display a photo of each sheepskin. We think we probably sell the best sheepskin rugs in the world! We specialise in Herdwick, Jacob, Rare Breed, Naturally Coloured, Icelandic and Naturally White Sheepskins. We also sell a full range of Lambskins and Dyed Sheepskins. If you want quality, size, and value for money; look no further!
Apart from our fully machine washable range, we recommend you shake and brush your sheepskin occasionally, to keep it perfect. If the dog poops on it or the baby is sick on it, best to remove solid matter and hand wash the area if possible with natural soap flakes (regular washing powder is too harsh). It is recommended that you dry clean your sheepskin for best results. The rugs (more so the lambskins because the wool is shorter) may be machine or hand washed at 30 degrees, on a wool wash with natural soap flakes with lots of conditioner or at 40 degrees for some of our sheepskins (see washing instructions on back of rug for info). Do not force dry. If it does harden on the back, try rubbing the leather with a 2p or £1 coin to soften the leather. As with any leather or wool product, extreme care should be taken when washing. Better still, when it looks worse for wear, give it to the dog and buy another one from farmer lamb!
£0 - £20 = £3.50 £20.01 - £38 = £4.50 £38.01 - £55 = £6.00 £55.01 - £150 = £8.00 £150+ = £14.50 For international postage costs; please email.
